GPS TRACKING
GPS tracking technologies enable weapons to be tracked real-time In and Out of warehouses and armories, and to be tracked all-the-time in-armory, on-premises, in-country and globally. GPS Tracker tag in weapons also automatically updates the SHIELD if a weapon due for return has not been and can not be found during a system automated count.
GEO-FENCING AND ALERT MANAGEMENT
Integrates advanced geo-fencing technology to enhance the security and management of weapons and magazines. This system defines specific areas, such as armories or warehouses, where weapons are authorized to be stored. If a weapon or magazine breaches this designated geo-fenced area, an alert is automatically triggered, ensuring immediate awareness of potential security breaches

SHIELD maintains database records for all authorized personnel, including personnel information, photographs, fingerprints, and weapons certifications. When weapons are issued to personnel, the weapons assigned to them and any weapons required for assignment after assignment are displayed as photos on the computer screen.

The inventory module includes the ability to use handheld RFID scanners to quickly inventory typical-sized armories by a single person in a short time. The handheld scanner transmits radio waves up to about 20 feet and allows operators to scan weapons on shelves and bins or other nearby storage locations.

Armories typically store weapons, equipment, ammunition, personal weapons, pelican crates, containers,
and similar items. Most objects can be tagged with RFID, and others can be tagged with a mix of RIFD and GPS especially sensitive Arms. GPS tags uses assisted GPS and standalone GPS to ensure the most accurate location. This is the fastest and most accurate way to get a location fix.
Assisted GPS is a positioning service available through the cell carrier and uses local cell towers to help triangulate the location of a device.
